These initial line drawings are based off shapes that have come from my moodboards. I picked the shapes that I found most interesting and transferred them to my sketchbook. The shapes included; temples, towers, boats, palaces, shacks/houses, trees, conical rice hats etc. I then ticked the ones I liked, so I could then move them onto the next design stage.
I find this process the most boring in a project because I’m not thinking of these drawings as a final product yet, I’m simply copying from images. I can’t wait to abstract these ideas and think of them in a more practical and realistic way.
